About this activity

what you can expect?

Zoom through mangrove canals as you drive a 2-person speed boat to reach a beautiful snorkeling spot at Punta Nizuc national park reef on this thrilling jungle tour adventure from Cancun. After your speedboat ride, snorkel around one of the 2 largest coral reefs in the world.
After your guide provides instructions on how to navigate your speedboat, hop into the driver’s seat and start up the motor for adventure. Follow your highly trained tour guide along the canals that weave through the lush mangrove jungle. The 13-foot (4 m) speed boats are easy to drive, safe, stable, and completely suitable for first-time boaters.
When you arrive at the reef, park your boat, put on your mask, and splash into crystal clear waters to snorkel with your guide. Look for colorful tropical fish swimming around coral reef formations. More experienced swimmers can visit the MUSA underwater museum which features sunken sculptures that create a habitat for sea creatures. After snorkeling, re-board your speedboat for a swift ride back to Cancun.

Wow! It was super awesome trip… con de mi familia… 😀 Our guide was Carlos and was so good and funny across the speedboat ride. He has provided detailed instructions and checked and taken care of the equipment properly which helped my snorkelling experience best ever. He also showed us beautiful colourful fishes, star fish, corals and iguana 🦎 too! Wow! What a trip experience it was.

The actual content is basically same as it described beforehand. Two hours are very solid. Half an hour cross the lagoon and mangrove to the outside of Punta Nizuc. Then one hour snorkeling over a rope enclosed reef zone. The reef is a bit deserted but understandable, many other companies are also snorkeling at the same place.

It was fun to ride the speed boats and we also enjoyed the snorkeling. All equipment was good and well maintained. The snorkel was new and wrapped in plastic. I recommend this activity and company.
